Business Angels Europe is proud to announce the six nominees for the Golden Aurora Award 2026, recognising Europe’s most impactful female business angels who are driving innovation, backing bold founders, and strengthening the continent’s startup ecosystem.
This year’s nominees represent a diverse and influential group of investors who are actively shaping the future of entrepreneurship across Europe. Through their investments, mentorship, and advocacy, they play a key role in supporting the next generation of founders—often identifying opportunities and talent others might overlook.
The nominees for the Golden Aurora Award 2026 are:
For Portugal: Isabel Faria
For Italy: Diana Sabrina Vaturi
For Germany: Anna Fedulow
For The Netherlands: Yasemin Tümer
For Estonia and the UK: Vicky Brock
For Norway: Angela Holter
Since its launch in 2018, the Golden Aurora Award has celebrated women who are not only investing in startups, but also contributing to a more inclusive, connected and resilient innovation ecosystem across Europe.
The winner will be announced during the Golden Aurora Award Ceremony (GAAC), taking place at the SIM Conference 2026 in Porto, Portugal, on Thursday, 14 May, from 15:30 to 17:00 (local time). Hosted by last year’s winner Cintia Mano, in collaboration with Investors Portugal, the event will bring together leading voices in angel investing for a series of conversations on the impact of women investors, culminating in the official award announcement.
We warmly invite the community to join us in Porto to meet this year’s nominees, hear their perspectives, and celebrate the growing influence of women in early-stage investment across Europe.
