Forging the Future: ESNA and Business Angels Europe Announce Strategic Partnership to Empower European Entrepreneurship

The Europe Startup Nations Alliance (ESNA) has announced a strategic partnership with Business Angels Europe (BAE), European Confederation of Angel Investing based in Brussels. This partnership aims to strengthen the European startup ecosystem by combining ESNA’s knowledge and capabilities with BAE’s investor network and policy expertise.
Brussels, 27 November 2025 – On this collaboration Business Angels Europe, will engage its organisation and associated members in the partnership, drawing on its market knowledge to co-develop research, data collection, and analysis. This partnership will complement ESNA’s work by having BAE as a contributor on join policy work and research. ESNA will provide not only access to its platforms but also facilitate networking opportunities for BAE with ESNA members and partners, essential to create bridges between the ecosystem and member states.
This alliance reflects ESNA’s ongoing commitment to strengthen Europe’s Startup ecosystem through collaboration by supporting the creation of policy framework which supports and boosts European digital innovation and entrepreneurship.
Through this partnership, ESNA aims to support:
Data Collection: Provide access to the Data Platform and relevant research to support BAE’s data collection, enhancing and harmonizing datasets.
Strengthen networking: Connecting BAE representatives with ESNA members and partners through targeted panels and events.
Insights in strategic publications: Collaborate in strategic publications and drive joint engagement in the early-stage ecosystem through research, events, and policy initiatives.
On the occasion of the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, Arthur Jordão, ESNA’s Executive Director stated: “This partnership with Business Angels Europe marks a significant step towards a more connected and thriving European startup ecosystem. By combining ESNA’s knowledge, data capabilities and stakeholders network with BAE’s expertise in early-stage investment and policy, we will generate deeper insights and support evidence-based policy.
