Bridging financial and non-financial support for early-stage startups: the European

Business Innovation Centre Network (EBN) and Business Angels Europe (BAE) announce a strategic partnership to unlock the innovation potential of the European entrepreneurial ecosystems.

EBN and BAE, the European Confederation of Angel Investing, signed a strategic partnership. Combining EBN’s incubation & acceleration excellence and innovation ecosystem orchestration know-how with BAE’s investor network and policy expertise, the partnership seeks to strengthen European innovation ecosystems.

The EBN-BAE partnership will foster innovative entrepreneurship in Europe. Its ultimate goal is to bridge financial support for early-stage startups and deep-tech projects with non-financial support measures provided by EU|BICs. This combination will unlock the innovation potential of European regions and their entrepreneurial ecosystems. It will ensure better use of available financial resources and increase the survival chances of early-stage ventures.

This alliance reflects BAE’s ongoing commitment to creating a connected ecosystem for angel investing across Europe, working with key players across the finance and business marketplace. It also addresses EBN’s mission to drive sustainable economic development and wellbeing of European regions through the promotion and support of innovative entrepreneurship.
