At the General Assembly of Business Angels Netzwerk Deutschland e.V. in Frankfurt, Dr. Ute Günther and Dr. Roland Kirchhof were elected as Presidents of Germany’s Business Angel federation for another two years. Günther and Kirchhof have been serving the association since 2001, developing it to its current strength. As of today, BAND represents about 3,000 angel investors in Germany, either via direct membership or indirectly via its member networks. Specifically, individual memberships of accredited business angels have spiked in recent years, increasing by 100% from 2016 to 2018.
