On May 22, the VentureCon Bavaria helped to foster cross-border investment and connect start-ups and investors from different countries. Organised by BayStartup, in cooperation with Business Angels Europe, 16 selected start-ups participated which were seeking funding for a second round of investment. Because BayStartup is part of the BAE club, many of its members had the opportunity to bring their startups to pitch before an international audience.
The next day, during the meeting at BayStartup facilities the Early Stage Investing Launchpad (ESIL) was presented, as well as 3 new members of the BAE Club: Femmes Business Angels, Club degli Investitori and Anges Quebec.
Finally, the BAE Club changed its chair. We want to thank Claire Munck of BeAngels of her efforts in creating this strong club containing the best performing Business Angel networks of Europe. We are also very pleased and proud to have the former president of France Angels, Tanguy de la Fouchardiere, as a new chairman.
