ESIL 2 has the aim to boost the innovation and investment ecosystems in the European Union by supporting angel investing communities, in particular from countries where angel investing remains weak. The vision of the initiative is to empower the changing face of European angel investment.

The Early Stage Investing Launchpad – ESIL – is a Pan-European community aiming to improve angel investment market, stimulate cross border investment opportunities, find new deals, connect the most relevant networks and build a tailored training programme for local ecosystems. 

Avec l'appui de GIZ, Business Angels Europe et PwC ont structuré  l'écosystème marocain des business angels, par misent en place des seances de training avec des experts de BAE et amenent les business angels marocain vers meilleur pratiques d'Europe.

EmpoWomen is a 2-year program (2024-2025) funded by the European Union through its Horizon Europe Research and Innovation program, aiming to tackle the underrepresentation of women in the deep-tech sector, particularly in emerging European countries and widening countries*.

WA4E set out to increase the number of Women Business Angels by 10% and to generate €2.5 million in  fresh investment in start-ups across Europe. WA4E has deployed trainings and mentoring actions to reach out to over 3000 women to become women business angels. Read our seminal report below.
