BUSINESS ANGELS EUROPE (BAE) elects Luigi AMATI as new Chairman

Mr. AMATI co-founded the association in 2012, and has since played a pivotal role in its development at the European level, most recently under the leadership of Philippe GLUNTZ, BAE chairman since the founding year 2012.
Today he opens a new chapter in the BAE’s history. "With the infrastructure in place, and having secured stability for the organisation, we are now in a position to effect real change by deploying our skills and leverage from both EU and Members’ level," Mr. Amati stated in his opening declaration to the newly elected Board. "We will be firmly on the ground, delivering clear results – sharing knowledge, stimulating cross-border investment and working with policy makers to grow Business Angel investment in Europe”.
The Board, consisting of 9 members from Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands and the UK, welcomed the decision. Mr. GLUNTZ was nominated Honorary Chairman, and will continue to support the development of Business Angels networks across Europe from the BAE’s highly active Board, where each member carries the responsibility for a clearly defined area of strategic importance.
